Selenium with Vitamin E are precursors to making Glutathione in the human body. Food sources are beef, chicken, fish, organ meats, cottage cheese, brown rice, Brazil nuts.
Factors related to less internally produced Glutathione are 1) low Glutathione producing diet, 2) NAC, 3) Obesity, sedentary life style, 3) Low or no selenium and Vitamin D (vitamin D is made internally from cholesterol and sunlight), 4) Low Magnesium, 5) Flu shots, 6) age, 7) low sunlight exposure.
Factors related to more internally produced Glutathione
1) High glutathione producing diet - beef, chicken, etc. 2) intense exercise, 3) high selenium and vitamin E, 4) High Magnesium, 5) No flu shots, 6) resveratrol supplementation, 7) high does of supplemental vitamin D (note Vitamin D supplement artificial and is an anti-inflammation hormone not Vitamin D; high artificial Vitamin D can result in kidney stones)
Glutathione cannot be easily absorbed by ingesting pills because it goes through the digestive tract. So, many people resort to glutathione supplementation (e.g., capsules or tablets or liquid orally, liposomal glutathione accelerated with lecithin orally, sublingual glutathione under tongue 25 mg into blood stream, or glutathione infusions with needle in arm 200 mg). Infusions must be by a doctor or nurse because staphylococcus is on our skin naturally and can be injected into bloodstream inadvertently unless a trained nurse swabs the entry point. Typical infusion cost around $25 to $50.
Glutathione is also produced in the body naturally but declines with age. Selenium with vitamin E is a precursor to making glutathione in the body. Food sources are beef, chicken, fish, organ meats, cottage cheese, brown rice and Brazil nuts.

Just use salt water in a Nettie Pot not pharmaceuticals.

3. The Best Way to Relieve Sinus Problems Naturally
Q: Dr. Daniels, I've had a sinus issue for about two weeks or longer. What can I do about this?
A: You don’t want to dry out the mucus.
What you really want to do is rinse out the mucus and the stuff causing it.
Use a neti pot with one quart of warm water and two teaspoons of salt.
Just keep refilling the neti pot—up one nostril, out the other, up the other nostril, and out the one. Back and forth, back and forth, and clean it up.
If you have nasal histamine release it might be from an excess of Candida fungus in the gut after a doctor gave you antibiotics that wiped out the bacteria which controls Candida. In such a case, take 1/2 teaspoon of Pure Spirits of Gum Turpentine - pine tree sap - Georgia Pure Gum Spirits with a sugar cube or small amount of honey. This will also get rid of neuropathy in hands and feet. But you must have 3 bowel movements or the Candida will not have anywhere to go and will build up in the body (or with Vit. C make stones).
Very interesting. So I learn that NAC is risky. On the other hand there is its role for glutathione.

Oh man ….not even sure my onion layered brain dares to ask…
Tried to step away from OTC stuff when feeling rough and in 2020 bought a nebuliser.
So nebulising (saline or saline+hydrogen peroxide)? What does that do to mucus/mucousa?
Just use salt water in a Nettie Pot not pharmaceuticals.

That will do it.
Brilliant! Thank you I really appreciate you sharing and taking the time to help.
