TOP ICU DOC SAYS HOSPITALS WILL KILL YOU
Excerpted from Vigilant News Dec. 15, 2023, Florida COVID Summit
“It’s impossible to talk about COVID without looking at our health care system. And our health care system is a hoax,” declared Dr. Paul Marik, who is the second-most-published critical care physician in the world, to a packed audience at the Florida COVID summit.
“And so, my advice to you: don’t get sick, don’t go to the hospital, because they’re going to kill you.” Instead of seeking help from the hospital, Dr. Marik recommended eating right, sleeping right, getting enough sunshine, lowering stress, and taking care of your lifestyle because, again, “The medical system will kill you.”
Life Expectancy
Dr. Marik shared a graph comparing life expectancies between different countries and health care expenditure per capita. America ranked dead last on life expectancy despite spending far more on health care than any other nation.

“We have a big problem,” said Dr. Marik. “And what you may not know is the life expectancy of Americans has gone down in the last three years — by three years. And how did that happen? Well, according to the White House, it’s global warming. The only explanation they have.”
Addicted to Big Pharma
“The other thing, which is terrifying,” Dr. Marik continued, “the US makes up 5% of the world’s population, yet we consume 55% of the prescription medications. This tells you how sick Americans are — that 55% of the world’s consumption of medication is in this country. We are sick people.”

Dr. Marik revealed that Atorvastatin, a cholesterol medication, was the most-commonly-prescribed drug in the United States.
The Biggest Hoax
Despite the common notion that cholesterol medication reduces heart disease, Marik called it the “great cholesterol myth.”
Why is cholesterol medication a myth? Marik said:
“Lowering your cholesterol won’t prevent heart disease. It’s called a myth. It’s a hoax.” “What do statins do?” he asked. “They increase your risk of diabetes. They increase your risk of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia — yet they are the most commonly-prescribed drugs in this country.”
Marik presented a graph from a study by Takata Y et al. that showed that elderly patients with the highest cholesterol levels actually had the best survival rates.

Next, Marik showcased a staggering study from The British Medical Journal, often referred to as one of the most reputable journals in the world. The British Medical Journal concluded there is a “Lack of an association or an inverse association between low-density-lipoprotein cholesterol and mortality in the elderly,” meaning that cholesterol medication had either no impact or a negative impact on mortality rates among elderly patients.
Marik ended by saying, “This [cholesterol medication] is one of the biggest hoaxes in medicine. But, you know, you can say the same thing [about diabetes]. The use of diabetes medicine is a hoax. Alzheimer’s medicine is a hoax.”
The Big Takeaway
Dr. Marik was ostracized for his dissenting views about the COVID-19 injections and ivermectin. In August 2023, he was informed by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) that his board certification was to be revoked for “spreading false or inaccurate medical information.”
However, it seems that doctors who received the most backlash for their viewpoints on COVID also ended up being the most right. What we can learn from Marik is that you can not outsource your health to the medical system because there’s a good chance “it’s going to kill you.” Instead, consider Marik’s suggestions by sleeping right, getting enough sunshine, lowering stress, and adopting a healthier lifestyle.

EXCERPT FROM “THE LETHAL DOSE – WHY YOUR DOCTOR IS PRESCRIBING IT”
By Dr. Jennifer Daniels, MD
1. The drug company patents a drug
2. The drug company determines the minimum lethal dose
3. The drug company sets the recommended dose at a level that is HIGHER than the lethal dose
4. The doctors are expected to (and do) prescribe the lethal dose so they (the hospital and the drug companies) can sell the maximum amount of the drug possible, and therefore earn the most profits possible
5. Hospitals agree to be a place where dangerous drugs can be administered and monitored
6. The hospital makes sure that insurance is in place
7. Everyone gets paid when the patient finally dies.

Marik’s Evidence Based Critical Care Rules Turned Upside Down (from his book Evidence Based Critical Care – 2001 edition).
1. Assume the obvious (don’t assume the obvious)
2. Common diseases do not occur commonly (COVID-19 is the flu - common diseases occur commonly)
3. When doing a procedure nature always sides with recovery (nature always sides with the hidden flaw – if something can go wrong it will)
4. Things always get better (just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse, they will)
5. Open a can of worms (never open a can of worms unless you plan to go fishing)
6. Everything in medicine stays constant (nothing in medicine stays constant)
7. Call specialists on the case (the law of subspecialization: if all you have is a hammer the world looks like a nail).
8. There is a test for an acute surgical abdomen (an acute surgical abdomen is what a good surgeon says it is)
9. Always order full regimen of tests (before ordering a test decide first what you would do if the test is a) positive or b) negative. If both answers are the same, don’t do the test.
10. There is no manifestation of disease that can be caused by a drug (that cannot be caused by a drug)
11. If a drug is not working, up the dosage (if not working, stop it)
12. The quality of patient care is proportional to the number of consultants (inversely proportional)
13. Scribble orders so you can’t be blamed (if it cannot be read, don’t write it)
14. All orders are understandable (if it can be misunderstood, it will be misunderstood)
15. Ignore ICU nurses (never ignore an ICU nurse’s observations)
16. Never care about nurses (be kind to nurses and they will be to you)
17. When you don’t’ know what to do, do something, anything (when you don’t’ know what to do, do nothing)
18. Organs fail in isolation (no organ ever fails in isolation)
19. Listen to noisy staff (empty vessels make the most noise)
20. He who thinks he knows everything, does (he who thinks he knows everything, knows nothing)
21. Refer complex cases to a committee (a committee is the only life form that has twelve rectums and no brain)
